STUDENTS took to the catwalk wearing recycled rubbish in a bid to encourage people to use their imagination to recycle.
Pupils from the Penn House at Pipers Corner School in Great Kingshill staged a Recycled Fashion Show with a mix of different recyclable materials including newspaper and cuts of fabric.
There were outfits made from plastic bags, tissue paper and even rubber gloves.
The audience also got the chance to see the collection by Upper Sixth textiles student Bronwen Baynes which was produced as part of her textiles coursework.
It is based on 'Upcycling' which converts waste materials or useless products into products of better quality or a higher environmental value.
Head of Penn House Sarah Carwardine said, “I have been so impressed by the amazing clothes on the catwalk today.
